Deschutes Brewery Hopzeit Autum IPA is back for the fall season as the leaves turn colors, sweaters take over the closet and football returns! This recipe is the perfect dish for any fall occasion. Added bonus: You get to drink beer while you prepare this dish and it’s extremely simple to make.
Deschutes Hopzeit Autumn IPA is inspired by a traditional Märzenbier, German hops add herbal, fruit and spice notes to balance the smooth and elegant malt character. This beer is a perfect match to complement many dishes. We hope you enjoy this hummus recipe!
- 1/2 C Hopzeit Autumn IPA
- 2 C chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 C tahini sauce
- Pinch of season salt for color
- Parsley for garnish
1.) Mix all ingredients except beer, in a food processor. When blended, slowly add beer and spoon around the sides of the blender until desired consistency is reached.
2.) Refrigerate for 2-3 hours and serve with pita chips, veggies, and a pint of Hopzeit Autumn IPA.
3.) Add season salt to taste.
